Students complete the worksheet containing questions in class. Questions are graded by the teacher after student finishes the worksheet. Each question is worth 16 points.
Learning Context/ Introduction
Students use a web worksheet to gather information about the Italian Renaissance artist, Leonardo da Vinci. They look at the front and back of the Mona Lisa, Leonardo's most famous painting. Students learn about the painting techniques used by this artist. They examine many of his drawings of inventions.

40 minutes ( one class period)

Instructional/Environment Modifications
Each student required access to a computer with the web worksheet placed on it.
Procedure
- Students are directed to a web worksheet on their computer.
- Teacher explains to them that each question about Leonardo da Vinci has links to websites.
- To answer these questions students will read information and examine art from the websites.
- Students write the numbers 1- 6 on lined notebook paper to correspond to their answers to each question on the web worksheet.
- Teacher aids students, who have questions, to explore the web sites to complete the worksheet.
- Students hand in their answer sheets at the end of the class period.

Reflections and Feedback
Students were able to closely examine the Mona Lisa. This was an exciting experience for them because they can observe the details of this famous painting in the Louvre.
Students found Leonardo's inventions quite interesting and they enjoyed exploring the web sites for information.

Students complete 6 questions which are written on the web worksheet.
