Teacher Instructions
Teacher can have students work alone or in pairs. Depending on what unit you are working in, have the students use this website as a review. They have the opportunity to review the parts of each system, see the system in action by a narrated tour or animation, and a chance to play a game in which they have to put the system together.
This website can also be used as an introduction to the main parts of this system. This site can help students become familiar with the systems and the vocabulary that go along with each system. Students can be given a blank worksheet of a heart, digestive system, etc. and be expected to fill in the appropriate parts as they go through this website. Or the students can be asked to draw and label the parts of the system if no worksheet is available. This will hold the students accountable for their work. Worksheets have been generated that follow along with each of the activities in the website. Teacher answer keys for the worksheet are also provided.
**The Skeletal System virtual tour is more of an interactive activity. It allows you to put together a human body, there are no worksheets provided since the students will not be able to answer questions off this link.**
Description
This webpage gives the students a chance to learn and be able to locate the parts of the heart, brain, digestive system, and skeletal system. The students get a chance to explore these four regions while getting visualization on how each system is arranged and/or operates. This may be a good review or an introduction to the lesson for each one of these body systems.
