Click on the link below for the Kindergarten sight word list. Read the words with your child until he/she is able to read them independently.

 The goal for your child is to be able to read all of the sight words at your child’s grade level with automaticity by the end of the school year. Your child should also be able to recognize and read the sight words in stories. When writing, encourage your child to accurately write the sight words at his/her grade level.

 Make learning sight words fun. Put them on flash cards and play games such as Concentration. Point out sight words when in the car or the shopping mall.
