Welcome Parents and Students!

You, the parent, are the most important person in your child’s life. Help us to help your child become a reader and writer. How you can help~

Modeling reading and writing is critical to your child’s success. Your child will imitate your actions. Therefore, if your child observes you read and write, your child will also want to read and write. Use every opportunity to read and write with your child. Most importantly, have fun reading and writing together. Get your child involved. Read and write grocery lists, newspaper articles geared for children, games, poetry. Make learning exciting!

A little bit about myself ~

I have had the privilege throughout my career of teaching students from Pre-K to High School. I have recently had the experience of co-teaching as an adjunct instructor at a local college. No matter what age group I teach, it has been an exciting and rewarding experience.

Every student can learn, just not on the same day or the same way.
