What is a Friend
Talk to your child about friendship and the most important qualities in a good friend. Have your child tell you about his/her friends and what he/she likes about them.

I Like What You Are Doing
Notice your child doing something good. Praise your child and share with him/her why you like what he or she is doing. Ask him/her what he/she likes about the activity.

Scared Talk
Discuss what the word scared or frightened means. Ask your child if he/she ever feels that way. Share how you handled scary things as a child.

Let's Help Out
Discuss the importance of helping other people. Share ways family members can do things for each other.

Would You Buy It?
Go through the newspaper and read ads together. Discuss whether or not you would buy the products.
