Winter Recess

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

The weather is changing and the days are getting shorter and shorter.  There are some things to keep you busy during the cold frosty nights that are full of fun and adventure.

Take a cruise, or walk along the beach with the warm sun on your back.  Take a ride in a hot air balloon soaring high in the sky.  Or perhaps lay in the freshly cut grass gazing at the sky full of puffy white clouds.....Theses places and more can be traveled and you never have to leave your living room or couch.  Pick up a book and dive in.  Take a moment and read.  Read to and with your family.  Your younger brother or sister is waiting for a fun adventure in a book.  Whether it a fairy tale or scary ghost story...its a chance to explore a new world with new friends.

During our December break (two weeks)...that's a great opportunity to try a new chapter book, or new exciting genre.

Set your eyes on the highest goal and work hard everyday to make small steps toward meeting and exceeding your expectations.
