(1) CDOS.C.3b Students who choose a career major will acquire the career-specific technical knowledge/skills necessary to progress toward gainful employment, career advancement, and success in postsecondary programs.

When the District migrates to the implementation of 2007 we will move to the next platform of Microsoft Excel 2007
  • Students will work on exercises in the CD Rom that will cover the tasks covered in each lesson
  • To illustrate the ability of the student to graph, record and interpret data.
  • Shows the student can work with and interpret financial data in a job like atmosphere
MOS EXAMS (Microsoft Office Specialist Exam Excel 2007 or in the next platform of 2007)
  • Create a spreadsheet and enter data
  • Create headers and footers
  • Change the width of columns
  • Select cell ranges
  • Format cells
  • Insert and delete rows and columns
  • Use and print multiple sheets
  • Modify, format, and print charts
  • Create pie, bar, and line charts of spreadsheet data
  • Obtain data to make decisions 
We will then move our software, as well, to the next platform for MOS Certification Excel 2007 Each task covered in the lesson will teach the student how to perform the task, and then they will have the opportunity to practice what they have learned with challenging exercises

DDC Publishing Exam allowing students who score 85% or better to have the opportunity to take a test which will enable them to be eligible for permanent MOS Certification through Microsoft
