(1) CDOS.C.3b Students who choose a career major will acquire the career-specific technical knowledge/skills necessary to progress toward gainful employment, career advancement, and success in postsecondary programs.

  • Students will work on exercises in the CD Rom that will cover the tasks covered in each lesson

MOS EXAMS (Microsoft Office Specialist Exam Power Point 2007 or in the next platform of 2007)
  • Format and manipulate objects (resize, rotate and flip, align and distribute, group and reshape objects)
  • Format slides and presentations by changing the auto layout, different templates, color scheme changes, and to understand the slide master
  • Add transitions and animations to set the slide format, to prepare for a on-screen presentation, and to prepare a user interactive show
  • To set animation effects for an on-screen presentation using sound, motion clips, CD Audio Track, and recorded narration
  • To prepare a self-running show and a user-interactive show
  • Prepare a web presentation
  • Set program options, customize toolbars and work with macros
When the District migrates to the implementation of 2007, we will move to the next platform of Office 2007, we will then move our software as well to the next platform of MOS Certification Power Point 2007
Each task covered in the lesson will teach the student how to perform the task, and then they will have the opportunity to practice what they have learned with challenging exercises

DDC Publishing Exam allowing students who score 90% or better to have the opportunity to take a test which will enable them to be eligible for permanent MOS Certification through Microsoft
