NYLearns.org Curriculum Matrix Tool
Curriculum matrices or maps are valuable tools for teachers because they provide the scope of what must be taught and the sequence for delivering the content. They also help educators pace their teaching so they are able to cover all the instructional material and standards for their grade or subject area.

New Characters Available for Teacher Webpages
In recent weeks, NYLearns.org has received emails from educators who work with Spanish-speaking students and families. These individuals wanted a way to add Spanish characters and punctuation to their webpages. We heard these requests and are pleased to announce that Spanish characters, such as ¿ , é, and ñ, are now available in the r.a.d. editor! To access these, simply click the "Insert Symbol" icon and select the character you want to add.

Scavenger Hunt Winners
The Center for Applied Technologies in Education would like to thank all of the NYLearns.org users who completed the Spring Scavenger Hunt. The Spring Scavenger Hunt required participants to navigate their way through the website to find flowers that had been "planted" on certain pages. This trail of clues brought users to great spring educational resources, as well as to pages that were new to NYLearns.org.
